  • 2 cups plus 1 tablespoon orange juice, divided
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1⁄4 cup raw honey
  • 1⁄4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1⁄4 cup orange zest

Method

Step 1

In a large saucepan over medium heat, gently simmer the pears in 2 cups of orange juice, almond milk, raw honey, and brown sugar until tender.
